What a lovely illustration
It makes me so happy when I see fan art of the original novel, as opposed to fan art of the movie.
I've always loved the Achari. I personally never thought of them as ugly; I thought they looked adorable! Aw, don't cry Achari! I'll love you and hug you and snuggle you and give you cupcakes, just please don't cry!
I must admit that I was terribly disappointed when they turned into those *shudder* Shlamoofs (I think that's how you spell it). As if clowns weren't creepy enough when they walked instead of flew.
